Hello we are Dave and Janet Lynch from Goochland VA.
Dave is a lifetime Virginia resident. He grew up in Danville and Pittsylvania County VA and moved to The Richmond VA area in 1976 as an insurance company district sales manager. In 1979 while visiting home in Danville a friend introduced Dave to his soul mate Janet Fitzgerald from Pelham NC and they were married in 1980. They have a son, Mark who lives at home.
Dave has always had a passion for Photography. First with a Christmas gift from his parents ….an old Kodak Brownie and then he and Janet bought their first 35mm a used automatic Konica on their Honeymoon after a borrowed camera failed on them.
Janet has always been an Artist. She draws , sketches, paints, does calligraphy and her real passion for over 30 years has been Scherenschnitte Paper Cutting Art.
About the year 2000 Janet decided to frame some of Dave's photography and include it in her Art Shows. People gave her money for it……….. The rest as they say is history. From that point on Dave's camera has been his constant companion.
Today Dave is a retired insurance agent and a full time photographer. Dave's Photography has won some awards. He has now moved into Portraits and really enjoys capturing the joy of a High School Senior or College Senior .

"Photography for me is NOT about the camera, the lens, the tripod, the filter, or the computer. My Photography is about “MY FATHERS WORLD.” The Beauty Of God’s Creation and the gift he gave me to capture it. Whether it be a majestic mountain, an awe inspiring sunrise or sunset, the refreshing ocean, the calmness of a trickling stream, the bold colors of fall, the soft quietness of a snowfall or one of God’s creatures including man . It is HE who has made all. We must enjoy it every day and give HIM the praise and glory for it."
